One High School Golfer to another, mine was last fall, but heres the really competitive side of me, if you go up in a match, play your own game, and play conservative if your down, dont make easy mistakes that bury you. If youre up and you have a fair amount of lead on him, play smart. If youre tied or up a little and youre opponent changes styles from conservative to risk taker, dont fall into it. I've had it done to me and done it myself to other players and it can work. If youre opponent seems the conservative type take a calculated risk to throw off his/her game. And if you're tied play like youre down. And if its an important match and you get up, go for the throat. Dont let up off the gas but always HAVE FUN!
