Note: my post will be useless to you , but, anyway ....... I grew up just across the river and south a few miles) in Peekskill, NY. But that was so long ago that my info probably won't help. I do remember playing the course at West Point, and Storm King, too, very near there. Fun and very hilly! Across the river (east) is Garrison Golf Club. Nice layout and very ritzy and well-maintained in my day. They actually had caddies and I was one of 'em for awhile. Also, little Highlands Country Club, a short but fun nine-holer. Further away is Westchester CC. I've played it many times and, of course, you can see that one on TV! I guess the reason for this post is to ask you if you would post your impressions if/when you play any of these courses I played decades ago. I've lived in Africa, Europe, Central American, and even Texas since I left NY .... just never seem to get back up there!
