One thing I absolutely can't stand is hitting off mats. To me it gives way to much of a false positive on striking the ball properly. When you strike behind the ball the club just bounces up and hits it anyways so you can't tell as easily if your striking it incorrectly. I am big on getting as close to a natural feel of turf as possible and if a product can help with that it would be great.

This product definitely looks like a benefit so you don't have to carry around that mat, and it's light and portable something you can keep in your bag at all times.

I don't struggle too much on the temp mats that I take on the course, when it comes to telling how I strike it. But I do need to adjust for them, which I'm not keen on. With this, you don't get away with hitting it too fat.

Interesting concept Paulo and I reckon if I had to choose I would go with this. We don't have much winter like conditions around here. I do get annoyed hitting off of Mats at the range and this could be a pretty cool solution to that in some cases.

I was thinking about how it could possibly be incorporated into a range mat. But, at least at the ranges I go to, you're standing at the same height, so it's not as much of a problem. I don't like them, but I don't know if this would work on that scale.

I really can't tell much about the Fairway Saver from the pictures but if you are going to be hitting off of a artifical lie, I would opt for the most realistic feeling of the available options. Let us know which that one is.

What an odd idea. Like wearing skinny jeans. That site is strange too. I keep waiting for ED adds to pop up or something because for the life of me I see very little to nothing about the mats?! Where are the pictures? Anything

Having a look, you guys got that right. There are a couple of videos (one incorporating skinny jean style!) but no decent pics. As far as I know, the site is still a work in progress too.
