For me its kind of way of gauging what I need to work on. When I used to practice this all the time, I would use 3 shots a lot on my wedge game. Draw, fade, straight, high, low, etc...Most of my work will come down to my normal shot, but working with ball position lets me know where my weaknesses are in some cases. My normal shot will almost always be my go to shot if I can have that and the conditions work for it.

For me its about getting back to the basics and working on what gets me the best scores. Lots of practice does that and this was a nice beginning test to gauge that.
Thanks. Yeah, I reckon that session would be a good 'taster' for where you are at the start of this. If you've already got a solid go-to shot, you already know which shot you'll be trying to groove I guess.

Looking forward to stealing some practice ideas anyway. I kind of get lost in my short game practice, and end up just hitting lots of chips around the green without a lot of meaning.
