I have seen a couple THPer's hit a 6 iron 200 yards. I hit mine about 160-165. With a 7 iron distance 150-155. But that's me. My buddy Danny.P is almost 60 years old and I watch him hit his 6 iron 200 yards all the time. Heck, during some weekend rounds with THPer's he played the hole 3 round with a 7 wood. Because his back was sore and couldn't swing anything else. LOL And there were about 10 THPer's that were playing that weekend with us.

I think that if someone says they can hit a 6 iron 200 yards, you should probably just accept what they believe. You have no reason to think otherwise until you tee it up with them. I have no reason to lie about my swing. I haven't been playing very long.

I have to say that so far that the THPer's I've played with have been truthful. This isn't some rinky dinky site where no one actually plays golf with other members. A lot of member's play golf quite a bit with each other!
