How about we give NASA 500 billion dollars a year, and then when you protest, I'll give you a taste of your own medicine and ask to see your PhD in a related science. It's entirely possible to be critical of something without being learned on the topic. It's quite another, though, to expect that criticism to be accepted over that of people who actually know about the topic...
