Hey bro, good luck on making the golf team, my fresman season just ended played varsity the 2nd half of the year and had a great time....i also struglled a lot with my chipping until our assitant coach helped me. He told me to do a lazyer fred couples kind of chip....forward press and just pinch the ball, don't attack the ball just enough so your club isnt tangeled in the long grass.... for the fringe you can be more aggresive because you need to make sure you hit it flush...just small wrist hinge and pinch the ball, youll here a good noise when you do this a crisp sound..also idk if you use a pitching wedge or sand wedge...i prefer a sand wedge becausee i get more control...(could be cause its a true wedge and not some cavity back iron set wedge) Good Luck!!
