I think once I worked hard and saw a few good swings I realized I could start scoring 90s then 80s.. The more I work at it the more confident I get

+1 Absolutely. I think alot of gold is confidence. Whether that comes from your swing, your score, your clothing, it doesnt really matter. When I hit a few good tee shots in the beginning of a round, I know it will be a pretty good round. If my tee shots are wayward on the first few holes I can tell it is going to be a struggle for me, but sometimes when you still grind out a good round when your swing is off, it is more rewarding.
