I have my days when the driver is listening but I'm always curious as to whether or not leaving it in the bag for a loss of yds can hurt my game anymore then forcing the love with the driver.

LOL! I am going through the same thing. There is always the argument that both can go bad but one will be 30 yards further. While that is true, the dispersion is probably greater and from a percentage perspective some golfers can find the FW better than with the driver. While I enjoyed playing 9 using only irons, I would still like that extra 30 yards I get with the 3W especially on those slightly longer par 4's.

It is all about playing what works for you. I could care less if my partner knocks it past me 50 yards when they only hit 1 of 3 FW's and I can find short grass pretty much all day. Good chance I will shoot lower which is what is important to me.
