He's still really just a kid and fairly new to the big golf stage. Yes he wanted to break it off to focus on the game, but didn't realize what she did for his game. Took not having her there to make him realize it. I am sure it was tough to break things off with her and tougher to put his pride aside and get back together. I mean, if he were to think nothing but golf 24/7 for the next few years he would be burnt out. If he is happier and his game better with her by his side, then that is all that really matters.
