Mardin, does she like golf at all or if she does show any interest in it, how was her exerience on the course or driving range?

I became obsessed because I was lucky to play my first few times with my family at a course that was completely happy to see me on the course. Since then I've played on more courses than I would like to that really haven't been welcoming to women, either because the attitude in the pro shop when I would come in to inquire about walk on as a single was "um, we don't have any groups that are slow" (I'm a fast player. Most women I play with are too but assumption is women are slow) or in the fact that women's "locker room" was a single stall bathroom carved out of a broom closet, or the feeling of "OH, you are a woman so you must really not be serious" that is often directed my way.

If she wants to play, find a place where she can learn and have fun and not face scrutiny or attitude because she is a woman and/or a beginner.
