So I got our clubs newsletter today via email, and they are doing the member-guest a little different this year. They are spreading it out over 3 days, 5 9 hole matches in a match play style event. This is how it will be run:

The big change for 2011 will be the Member Guest tournament. The board of
directors, as well as the tournament and rules committee, with the guidance of
Paul have decided on a team match play event. The event will consist of
five 9-hole matches played over three days with set flights based on handicap.
Each team plays within their flight and the winner of each flight will move on to
the Sunday shoot out round. This format has gained popularity with clubs
throughout the country and offers a tournament that is fun for the whole weekend.
We will have a full description of the weekend and what it has to offer posted in
the clubhouse for all to read with copies available
to take with you. I'm kinda confused about how this would work. I figured someone here would know. Also, what if I were to play with someone that were maybe a 30 HCP. How would scoring go w/ handicap?
