I applaud you on your decision and as Ole Gray said I think you will enjoy better golf because of it. I made the switch to Burner 2.0 irons from a forged cavity back blade and it was one of the best things I have done for my golf game. Like you said I am not penalized so much for my misses. It was eye opening the interview that JB posted with John Hoeflich where he mentioned the muscle back irons that pros play and reteif goosen returning to the tour truck to get some of the cavity back irons as he felt he joked 'he wasn't good enough to hit them.' That is amazing to come from a guy that has won 2 US Opens. With that said I think you have made a good decision and keep us posted on how the lessons and new irons go.
