But if a Palestinian boy who'd lived in one of those houses threw a stone at one of the bulldozers, that was terrorism. That's is very 'poignant' imagery, indeed; too bad it's also farcial hyperbole and hubris. If you ever get a chance to be subjected to a mob of teenagers throwing rocks, you'll quickly find it is hardly 'harmless kid stuff' and it is certainly isn't 'self defense'.

As long as a significant portion of the Israeli people feel this way peace will be difficult. At the same time the Palestinians keep crying about retaliation for attacks made by Israel. Fortunately there are some changes going on in the way Israel is handling the West Bank. Lets just hope it holds as they change generals. It is up to the Arabs to want peace; Israel has abided by every treaty and cease fire, agreed to recognizing a Palestinian state numerous times. The Arabs have rejected every single offer for peace, so yes, Israelis have every right to move on. The biggest move toward peace would be for the UN to stop rewarding terrorism and extortion by subsidizing the PA and Hamas, and force the Arab countries to take care of their problem; they've done a very good job of convincing people that they are Israel's problem, when in fact they aren't; the 'Palestians' have managed to make a very good living off of the UN for doing little or nothing but attacking Israelis and getting payoffs from the Europeans to not hijack airliners and bomb cafes in Europe, but never mind the facts, memes trump them these days.

Another great move would be to force Arab nations to allow 'Palestinians' to immigrate, in many cases back to the countries they came from in the first place; not many people ever seem to complain about how Kuwait, Syria, and every other Arab nation discriminates against and abuses 'Palestinians', though; they just like to snivel about The Jews, and will do so at every turn, no matter what Israel gives up or how much land they surrender.
