I'm a ready golfer and rarely mark unless someone needs me to or I need to clean my ball. While I appreciate keeping play moving, sometimes those 4 footers someone wants me to "just tap in" are a little unnerving and I'd rather take a little time and make the putt. I also don't care about who goes first on/around the green. If you're ready to putt, putt; I don't care who's away. The etiquette I do care about is, don't walk in/stand in my line; don't talk while I'm putting; and fix your damn divots! Oh and if you're closest to the hole, pull the darn pin (this is for my wife who never seems to remember that she has the ability to take the flag out ).
