I am fine with people marking their ball all the time as long as we are playing ready golf. I played with a group on friday who were playing by the rules the whole time making for real slow play. Three of us would be on the green ready to putt and the fourth in the bunker, he would splash out and be away but now he has to rake the bunker and clean his club and grab his putter and then walk to his ball and mark and then putt. This happend on the first hole so after he splashed out i was furthest away of the other three so I went to line up my putt and putt while he was getting to his ball. The other guys in the group looked at me like I was crazy and told me that "Jim's still away!" I HATE SLOW GOLF!
