It varies around here. The local munis do not include range balls. The price of golf and cart is very good (~$40 for a great course), the price for range balls is not ($5 for a small bucket). The private courses I have been to will just have them sitting at the range. I have played the 'resort/tourist' courses in Branson and Lake of the Ozarks and they usually include range balls. It can be pretty expensive to play these places so the cost is built in I'm sure, plus they need to make a nice impression on people so they come back and/or tell their friends. Some just give you a small bucket, but others just have balls sitting in the hitting area and you can hit as many as you want.

My personal feeling is if you have to pay $60 or more, the range balls should be included.
