yeah, i don't like having tons of layers on. if i can keep my head and my hands warm, i'm usually pretty good to go. i played yesterday morning and when i arrived it was 39* and when i left it was 41*, so it wasn't super cold, but cold enough to where i had to focus on keeping my hands warm.

i like to use my handy golf mittens and hand warmers, that works well. the one thing that i will recommend is not to touch any part of your irons with your bare hands other than the grips. i made the mistake of carrying a few irons by the shafts and it just made my hands colder, which in turn, made it harder for me to warm them up. i can comfortable golf in pants and a sweater as long as my head and hands are warm.
