Another thing that I have noticed is that playing off the hardpan that passes for the first cut of rough that borders the fairways this time of year is risky business as it is really hard now. My right wrist has gotten so inflamed that I am wearing a brace at night just to take the strain off of it and let it heal up some. Now that we are down to the last few days of play I am moving the ball out into the fairway if I land on hardpan as it just is not worth the additional damage to the wrist to play it from there.
