I play some handicap friendly games- where a good golfer has an edge but a high handicapper can compete. Usually $0.50 a hole and winner picks next game.

Longest approach shot to stay on the green
Longest putt made
shortest putt made
Closest to the hole at GIR+1
etc

These give an advantage to a better golfer but the high handicap can still win.
ex. HC1 and HC20 are playing a par 4, HC1 really outdrives HC20. HC20 now has a chance to leave a 7i on the green (which can happen) to auto win the hole.
