"Feathering" is an interesting term and a good way to describe hitting a less-than-full shot with a given club and I have trouble with that as well. I think it was Vijay who said the same thing; that he'd rather drop a club and swing harder rather than take something off of a longer club.

I agree with him.

I have the same issue, if I try to take something off it turns into deceleration and usually a fat, fat shot that just irritates me to no end.
