The only really scary thing I've seen on the course is a lightning storm. It came out of nowhere and the electricity in the ground literally stood our hair on end. Lightning struck the ground no more than 100 yards away.... nothing living that I'm likely to see on the course has any chance of being that terrifying.

I see coyotes almost daily... a bull elk in the fall is far more dangerous, and I've seen them too. Rattlesnakes are commonplace out here, but for whatever reason, I've never seen one on the course.
