Same here, a couple of resort courses have larger greens, i think it's to make the vacationing players feel good about a G.I.R. But by & large most of the greens on the courses I play are no more than 30-35 feet across. BTW I deal with tape measures all day long in my job, measuring everything from 1/16" up to 200'.

My job involved a lot of measuring too. When I was on the job I worked with everything from 1/10,000" (.0001) to about 10 feet. When you work with measurements day in and day out, you DO get pretty good at estimating. Even though I've been retired now for 3 years, the eye stays with me. 33 years of practice doesn't just fade out.
