I think it all depends on if they lock the parking lot and on whether your walking or not. Im sure the guys in the cart shack would be pretty pissed if someone was still out on the course and they had to wait around.
Ive had some summer nights where I have finished my round after everyone is gone but the courses that lock their gates usually send out a Marshall to sweep the course.

They don't allow anyone to use a cart after a certain time so I will probably end up walking it.....and i'm not quite sure what a marshall is but i'm pretty sure that no one is out there that late.
