Smallie - Do you mean you worked harder on other shots to make up for the tee shot?
Maybe I didn't have as many of those to have as many bad shots because of my bad tee shots!
Actually I started getting better with everything
last
year. In fact, it was my best year in probably every category I ever had since I started playing. This year, the problems off the tee led to some bad decisions trying to make a recovery shot or playing smart but not getting the good result (coming from under trees, trying to chip back to the fairway but either leave it short and still in trouble or hit it through the fairway into some other trouble!).
So I don't know. Hopefully next year my tee shots will come back and my scores will come back down. This year was pretty much a mulligan year for me as far as scoring goes. I had fun of course because I was golfing, but I had more rounds this year that I didn't even bother to add the scores at the end.
