Sorry Diane, but there goes the neighborhood!! I used to do it a lot too, when I played a practice course with 1-2" tall grass around the greens. The greens were tiny, so it was a tall order to get on the green in one from there. I eventually developed a pitch-shot for it, that I have never found use for since.
