I am not giving up on him. I started to watch golf when he was on top and I lived in Atlanta. He has battled a lot of demons and over come them, I think it is just a matter of time before he puts together a good full 4 days and wins another tournament. I think Nike will resign him also. He may not be a top 10 golfer anymore, but he is certainly good enough and carries enough fan support to have under your label and I think Nike realizes that. I mean come on, who would you rather watch, Cink, Immelman, Glover, Choi, Casey or Duval? Duval I think would get the most attention. As for his shape, he is actually probably a better golfer now in his current shape which is similar to when he was on top. It was when he lost a bunch of weight that his game disappeared on him. I followed him around on Thursday and Friday last week and I agree he is right there.
Do you really think Nike would resign him over guys that have won majors in the last 24 months and are on the upswing of their career? All of the guys you mention have one thing over Duval and why they get agreements. They are around on the weekend in large tournaments so fans can see the Nike bag.

Cink, Immelman, and Glover have also won majors the last 2 years. Casey was considered by many just this year to be in the top 2-3 in the world. Lets not forget that Cink and Immelman are to huge fan favorites because of the way they interact with the fans. Duval while a big name for a short period of time way back when has done NOTHING with the exception of 2 and a half days in a major this year. Outside of that, the guy has done absolutely nothing in close to a decade.
