I've been on that end of the stick and it is upsetting. It's best when going for the hole to let a man in trouble shoot his way out. It doesn't take that much time to do it. Even if guys don't mean it that way, it feels like a message that...we don't have time for your bad golf. What's get's me is when the tide turns, and it always does, You end up waiting in turn when THEY get in a storm. The best thing a guy can hear when he's in trouble is...we got time. Don't worry about. Knock it in the hole. This of course is just my opinion. That and a quarter will get you 25 cents.
You could be right, but we also felt we were falling behind and that took precedence in my opinion. I wasn't sure if making him feel we didn't have time for his poor golf or me feeling rushed because we weren't keeping up was better.
