I'm an addictive personality type of person and I have to say that the more I play golf the more I think about it and want to play even when I'm not. It's the most challenging game ever created and the fact of that combined with ANYONE who can swing a club can play it makes it the world's greatest game. I think there are alot of worse things in life that I could blow my money on. People at my local CC tease me because I go out and buy a new club when I get the urge but they will sit and spend 200 bucks a weekend drinking beer. At least my 200 bucks will last me until I get the urge to get something else. Buying the equipment and new things is what keeps the game fresh and exciting for me.

I was kidding my wife about how lucky she was, I could have been addicted to whiskey and wild women. She said that at least I was good at golf. Ouch!
