Default Butts and Putts.
"A good walk ruined." What's more contradictory than enjoying a beautiful day with the purity of nature all around you on the golf course and then seeing cigarette butts all over the landscape? Lining up a putt and having to remove someone's butt that's in your line? Seeing them in the sand traps, around the tees, on the fairways, all over the place! Geez!
Then having to endure the trails of smoke and foul air left behind, wherever the offenders go. Come on! You can say that as long as they don't impact you directly, then it's ok, but don't all those butts lying remind you that people are essentially littering the course with the very thing you're trying to escape while enjoying your favorite activity?
So, what do you think of people who smoke on the golf course? Do they bother you? Are you one of them? Could smoking be banned on the golf course? Should it? Weigh in with your thoughts about another unwelcome habit being brought to the golf course.

What would JD say?
