Harshly put, I found the efforts of the grounds crew (and also the drunken fans late in the afternoon) to be the most interesting aspects of this years US open.
By about the halfway maker of the final round I was dreading the possibility of another 18 holes to endure, and that's never a good sign.

Phil had a bit of a pseudo-surge, that almost had me interested. But, in all honesty, I wanted anybody to win other than Glover/Barnes. The fact that one of them did eventually flop over the line win put a bit of a dampener on it for me.
