I thought that FIA rules were that 10% of the km's must have been driven before ss times can be used for the running order for the day after. It would be ridiculous if for example Hirvonen makes a spin on the first one, and he has to start as last on the first (real) day...
But i think they decided that shakedown will act as a qualification next year so that the fastest on shakedown gets to pick his running order. Start as first you mean since he would be the slowest and has to decide last. Not sure how many cars that would go for.
