I can't believe that you have a problem with remittances. If I earn money, I can do whatever the fuck I want with it.

(And yes, we do get something out of it: the economy is global. How do you think Mexicans afford to buy our shit?)

Maybe you'll understand it this way. California expects to have a budget deficit of $24.3 billion this year and they have the largest population of illegals. If they could deport all of the illegals living in the state and those in prison, they would save on health care, education and stop the flow of money out of the state. They could easily overcome that $24.3 billion deficit! Factor in how hiring illegals suppresses wages for Americans AND take jobs from us and the savings is even greater.
I know that in your idealistic mind, you don't see the harm being done and I'm sure this post isn't going to make a difference so I'm going to just agree to disagree with you on it.
