I'm sure you know this; but if anyone is ever in serious pain (not faking it, or hell even if they are), please do not give them Tylenol 3 w/ Codein and tell them it will do anything. Sorry but its a pet-peeve of mine; everytime I've had any procedure they tried to pass the bullshit off on me. It does NOTHING, except maybe make you sweaty. I had an impacted molar chiseled out of my jawbone; and Im a big guy. I was given a low mg dose and was told it was "more than enough" to handle my pain. Bullshit.

Dislocated my shoulder (Badly); was given the same crap.

You can't even sell that junk.

Ah, no, screaming chest pain gets you a room instead of 5 hours in triage

any good abuser knows how to work the system.

As for the Tylenol 3 with codine. It's a hit or miss thing, dependant on patient. I can take half of one and my body is completley numb, just how it affects me. It may not work on you. But that's just you. Someone else may have a much better experience.
