Can you prove that? Any links?
Would it be something that you could find out, via polling? I hardly think so. Instead I'll just go with my understanding of how the culture is and who the people are that live there. As someone who has specialized in Arabic studies, to a degree, I feel half qualified to speak on it with my own authority. I don't need someone else to tell me what to think.

We could do it in a more logical format though. Thousands took to the streets to celebrate the fall of the twin towers. It's quite easy to assume that for every person that was dancing in the street there are many times that many who held similar sentiments but didn't go out. This is an easy extrapolation.
