I know older Vietnamese who would disagree with you. To this day, they refuse to call Saigon "Ho Chi Minh City".

Whether or not some Vietnamese would have preferred to see even more of their countrymen be murdered is irrelevant.

The fact is Vietnam prospered, that cannot be denied.
