people got killed on campus, he HAD to close down every building and cancel all classes after first shooting. Even if he left the campus, they still had to cancel everything until it goes down. Something tells me he is not going to be a president very soon.
I feel sorry for all those families who lost their kids. I hope nothing like that happens here.
Just last Friday morning some idiot threw a dynamite at a residence hall building here on my campus. Good thing I live off campus


Well in all fairness, Virginia Tech is a pretty big school. If there was a shooting at, say the University of Michigan's North campus, there is no way in hell they would cancel classes at any of the other campuses, as they're all at least 5 miles away from where the shooting occurred.
And to be perfectly honest, now is not the time to be second-guessing the decisions. They were made and we can't change that. All we can do now is mourn the losses, and THEN ask the hard questions.
