he does it ALOT, and shows up at hopitals to see family and soldiers. He does not allow the press in and just walks around. This is a major reason bush will be viewed differantly is 20 years then he is today.

'Countless' visits to Walter Reed... at all times of the day and night. 'Many' visits to Pope AFB to meet the planes and express orders to everyone not to speak of either one of them.

Obama spent time playing basketball and then throwing a BBQ at the White House for wounded soldiers just three days ago. Where was the thread on that?

Other than that, thumbs up to Bush for greeting the soldiers, I'm sure it was much appreciated.

I read this... thought about posting about it. But frankly I was not sure how to feel about it. The BBQ at the White House, and whoever from the NBA (I forget) was, I'm sure, much appreciated. The playing hoops in front of guys that can't walk... well...

So I scored it 'he means well' and left it at that.
