I was born in Houston. But haven't been there in a very long time. All I can tell you is that summers are blistering hot and humid. Houston is one of the biggest cities in the country, both in people and land area and it has NASTY traffic. From what I understand winters are relatively mild. I'm also told that it is a great place to party. I'vce had a couple of friends move away from tampa (which is one hell of a partying town) to houston, because they could get better jobs and the city (according to them) had a lot more to offer from an entrtainment POV.
Oh and they have some very high end hospitals. If a conditioned can be cured, there is a good chance that you can find a place in houston to treat it.
