Correct, IBM does make Apple stuff, but if IBM sells it to someone else, then Apple actually gets paid for it. This is because Apple (and also Motorola), played a riole in the original design of the "PowerPC" RISC processor used in the 360 and (you are correct) PS3, which IBM now exclusively manufactues. As part of that deal, Apple gets royalties on every PowerPC chip that is sold. Normally, though, it is Apple buying the chips from IBM, so that money goes towards the price of the chips. In the case of the 360 (and PS3), though, the console makers pay IBM for the chip and IBm has to give some of that money to Apple.
