Those happen to be my more favoured albums though so it's all personal preference. GF's preference is actually that he hates everything, and rather than say nothing, he want's to shout about it as much as possible. In other words, there's no point arguing or trying to persuade otherwise.

I won't say anymore because I need to listen again and then talk. Last time I listened to them properly was 8 years ago when I was a 19 year old hooked on Led Zeppelin.

Playing Murmur right now...

I remember once being at a bbq some 5 years ago and playing some songs from Murmur and Reckoning. People started complaining that it's crap and I had to change it.

5 minutes later some guy started playing Shiny Happy People and Losing my religion and everybody went ecstatic.

They had no idea at all that all the songs I played were also from REM.
