Go for it! The only thing that seems weird is in America you can't legally share a bottle of wine over dinner.

Heck, when you consider what many kids in their late teens and early twenties are like, I'm surprised more relationships aren't along these lines - with either gender split - as it opens up the possible relationship base for those looking for a more stable, settled, fun or whatever partner, rather than a drunk, unemployed, stoner, promiscuous or whatever partner.
