Probably refuse to acknowledge that anything is wrong, make some updates and push them out and deny that anything ever happened.
The saddest part is: you are exactly right.

Apple have a horrible track record of not owning up to their mistakes and often either blaming it first on consumers, or ignoring the issue all together (if they aren't telling the consumers to ignore it first). Not only that: they are one of the very few companies that never actually apologises to its customers when it does something wrong. Like the iPhone 4 antenna fiasco. Sure, they gave out free bumpers, but if you followed carefully you would've noticed that they never actually released a statement or official apology to consumers. I think this is very odd behaviour for a company that evidently has one of the greatest customer service models in existence.

We are seeing the same mistakes made more often from them now. Looking at Lion, and also not forgetting Final Cur Pro X (or should I say, iMovie pro).
