To be honest you need to define what you understand by lying.

Politicians are very careful when it comes to telling the truth. They dont really tell an outright lie, but they dont always tell us what they know. That is a small but important differnce.

If Obama says he wants world peace in 4 years, then thats not a lie, its his intention. People who beleive he could make world peace are naive and shouldnt be permitted to vote. Dont you think the same?

If Congress and the Senate would always support every Bill that Obama submitted, then you could hold him to higher standards. We all know how difficult it is for him to gain a majority on both houses.

Ah - so you're one of those who actually TRUSTS government.

Sorry my sad, easily suckered friend....politicians LIE. It is their stock in trade. That is a simple painful fact of life. They have done it since the dawn of civilization.
