IMAX films here are exactly $1 more. Maybe I'm spoiled because I all but refuse to see a movie on a regular screen for such a tiny cost difference.

IMAX films are a little more here, about $5 more expensive.
The IMAX theater by me is rated one of the best in the US. The only IMAX theater I've personally been to that beats it is the concave screen in the Museum of Science and industry. Aka the OMNI theater. Amazing experience, best theater ever. Nearly 180* field of view with a surround system second to none.
