Take a look at Suunto. Nice outdoor watches, some are simple and affordable, and you won't look like a ****** wearing a watch made my a company famous for shirts.

If you want something a bit more classic, I think you could do a lot worse than Swiss Army (Victorinox). I wear one myself - even the titanium ones come in less than £500. I have this one:

I really like the look of those suunto's, but I want an analogue watch.

How is it any more stupid to wear a watch made by a shirt manufacturer than a watch made by a knife manufacturer?
