Ummmm... That's a rather small car. Those safety seats (whatever you call them) for babies take quite a bit room.
Our old primary (now it's wife's car) car Opel Astra G Hatchback front seat was totally unusable because the babyseat required so much space in the backseat.
In our current primary Nissan Primera P12 Estate/Wagon it's not a problem.

Nice car you got there though!

One of my workmates has the same car - he said he had no problem getting a baby-seat in the back, and a stroller in the trunk.
