NOTE! I have little interest or experience in ICE - there are some very knowledgeable guys here, though, so they can clear up my mistakes.
Had a quick look and seems one of the first things is to upgrade the POS speakers.
Seems like they're 6 1/2", 16cm, in front with a possible separate tweeter. Pioneer and some other brands have replacements, just as they do for the rear speakers, if fitted.
I don't listen to loud thump-thump "music" but for a budget setup (about US$200ish) it should have a considerable improvement all round, including the bottom end. The head unit should be sufficient to power them, at least initially
Some speaker companies offer upgrade kits for different vehicles and, with the popularity of F150s, I expect there's a fair range of options from budget to multi' thousand dollar setups.
