Awesome. Really shouldn't mix business with pleasure but this sounds promising
I was quite skeptical myself, surprisingly it's been completely pain free. It is a family business (I started it with my father) and so in a sense it can be heated between me and my father at times. But I think that has helped her understand where I come from and more about me. As far as her and I we have not once had an argument at work. From the get go I made it completely clear that work is a priority and personal affairs must be kept outside of work. We have 12 employees and they all know of our relationship only once did it become an issue. (an employee felt my gf was getting special privileges and pay[she doesn't], after a long meeting and talk it was sorted out). In all it has truly been trouble free. We were concerned that too much time together would be an issue...but after a year of working and dating and a month of us living together (I lived with her while I worked on the house) its been smooth sailing. Truly I'm in shock and pure bliss to have found such compatibility.

Sorry that response turned out to be so long.

I'm doing good, live in the city now (Bethesda) and can't wait to move into my condo, it is being completely redone. All I need now is a wife and I will take care of that soon hopefully. I'm going to go back to Iran and bring back a girl I've been in love with since I met her 15 years ago :P
She has been patiently waiting for my lazy ass to get my act together.
Good for you man, gotta get you butt in gear sometime. Act while the iron is still hot...besides think of all that good home cooking....omg.

Congratulations! Hope everything continues on the right track. Hopefully she says yes when you pop the question. The ring idea is a very thoughtful one.

Also, is 'Persian' still a correct term? Thanks bud. Technically yea, Persian, doesn't follow suit anymore. Especially in these trying times for Iran. Most of my Iranian family refer to themselves as Persian because they remember a time when Iran was a place of beauty and culture. They want to separate themselves from what Iran is today in the modern era.
