The original Tron was a marvel of effects the first time, this doesn't dissapoint in that area. If you go to an IMAX screening make sure get a seat further back, some of the 3d is REALLY in your face and it made my eyes cross in some spots.

Music wise, much appreciated by Daft Punk, loved the 80's bit of music in Flynns arcade, they picked two great songs for those scenes.

Olivia Wilde = Yum. Quorra is the best bit of binary in the movie. Her character is naive.

I saw one plot twist a mile away. If you've seen the first movie you'll catch it right away.

The CGI for Jeff Bridges face is pretty bad in the "real world" scenes. Its much better in the Grid, though no-where near Avatar's use of the technology. Facial muscles don't move just quite right. The programmers didn't translate it as good as in Avatar. Or maybe CLU is supposed to be artificial looking being that he's a program.

ISOs, a little WTF where did that come from bit there. Not really necessary to the story I'd say.

I will probably see it again this weekend. I enjoyed it enough that a 2nd showing is in order to catch more details.
